An interesting juvenile event but Imperium can put his experience to good use and make amends for a narrow Brighton defeat. The form of that run has worked out well with the second winning in good company last time, so Brian Meehan's charge, particularly given that his very capable rider takes three pounds off his back, can land the spoils. Nights Cross is improving with every run and certainly has place claims. Alchera, who is related to a number of sprint winners, is eased slightly in grade for her third run and cannot be ruled out, while Dr Cerullo will have his supporters following his debut second over course and distance. Of the newcomers, Richard Hannon's 110,000gns purchase, Instructor, catches the eye, although he is bred to be suited by further in time. Marcus Tregoning runs another debutant, Snow Wolf, who has plenty of speed in the dam's side of her pedigree. As ever with these races, watch the markets before finally making a move.
