SCOTTISH AFFAIR can make it back-to-back wins in this handicap; the list of alternatives is headed by Mr Prolific and Lake Kalamalka. Ed Dunlop's 3-year-old was an easy winner at Wolverhampton last time when he looked as though he was one to stay on the right side of. He remains open to plenty of improvement and if he takes another step in the right direction today he will be hard to beat. Mr Prolific has been anything but so far, but he ran his best race yet at Nottingham earlier this month and if he can build on that then he would have a serious chance. Lake Kalamalka is another that showed she had trained-on with a solid effort on her seasonal return earlier in the month. She can go well, along with Squad who has been running with a decent level of consistency. However, Scottish Affair won in impressive fashion last time and he can go in again.
