In a race that is tough to call due to the rain-softened ground our vote goes to BORAGH JAMAL. Brian Meehan's filly drops in grade following a fine run at Sandown and is only 4lbs higher than when winning at Kempton in June. She's gone well enough on ground with cut in Ireland to suggest she'll at least cope here and that may be enough in a race where very few appear likely to be suited by conditions. Nepotism has dropped to a fine mark but hasn't raced on anything slower than good and indeed excels on fast ground as does course and distance winner Pherousa, so more of a threat could be the relatively unexposed Rebecca Romero but again there are going concerns as her dam was a real top-of-the-ground type. Royal Box relishes cut but arrives under a cloud which rather sums the contest up; there have to be doubts about all of these.
