        Verdict

        John Balding's Errigal Lad has run a couple of promising races in handicaps of late and has to be respected dropped into a seller today but it is hard to oppose KING'S WONDER, who is a confident choice. The son of King's Best has struggled to win a handicap this term for David Nicholls but he has run some decent races in defeat, most notably at Epsom and Ascot last month, and has an obvious chance dropped into a seller today. Ruth Carr's Beckermet has run better since dropped into similar grade in his last two outings but he has not won since September 2007. Mick Easterby's Soto faces no easy task giving weight away all round, while Pearly Wey seems to have gone downhill rapidly.
