Verdict

Ivory Lace comes here in great heart and is chosen to beat Rehia and Gemini Girl. Ivory Lace got the better of today's rival Laconia her a fortnight ago. On the revised terms it should be close between them but the selection should just have the edge. Rehia also looks held by Ivory Lace on recent all-weather form, however the John Hills trained runner does appear a better horse on the turf and this one is expected to make a good fight of it. Gemini Girl progressed well throughout last campaign and could go well at decent odds. Of the remainder it would be no surprise to see Gerard Butler's Best Force show improvement, but on this occasion we will stick with known ability and plump for Ivory Lace.
