This is a very tight fillies handicap that may fall to Grand Quest, with Albavilla and Claradotnet set to fight out the places. Formally with John Oxx in Ireland, this daughter of Grand Lodge was well supported on all four of her races, including her debut effort when second in a decent maiden at odds of 5/4. She looks very well treated for her first British handicap outing and could be the one to beat. Claradotnet was well beaten at Windsor on her reappearance, but put up some decent efforts last season, including a victory here in September when trained by Henry Cecil. She is now with Mick Channon, who after a stuttering start to the season, is now in top form and we expect a big run from the top-weight. Albavilla takes on handicap company for the first time after running in some very good maidens last term and should be noted in the betting. Recent hurdles winner Wasted Talent is also worth a mention but we will take a chance on Grand Quest.
