In depth

Verdict

A very low-grade handicap in which HOWARDIAN HILLS, who is 2lb lower than his last victory at Kempton, is taken to justify likely support. Tony Carroll has three entries – Frantical has run well here in the past though hasn’t been seen since October but still looks to have a better chance than Prerogative, who has been placed in eleven of 19 starts on Turf but never won and Windsorlot, a course and distance winner but badly out of form. Arlecchino’s Arc completed a Chelmsford double in the spring though has run poorly on Turf but the three-year-old Confils should have a bit of improvement in her and this won’t take much winning.
