Withorwithoutyou showed plenty of promise on her debut and Bryan McMahon's filly is taken to get off the mark here; Lady Predominant is preferred to the frustrating Red Trance as the main danger. The latter has shown bits and pieces of decent form, and was only just touched off by Mac Love at Kempton last time, having earlier been outclassed in the Molecomb at Goodwood. Her bare form suggests she has every chance but Andrew Balding's filly seems reluctant to get her head in front and is more exposed than her main rivals here. Lady Predominant was only just beaten on her debut at Chepstow and Mick Channon's filly was then far from disgraced in a Listed race at Newbury. She looks sure to find a race before long, but we just prefer the claims of Withorwithoutyou. This Danehill filly showed plenty of speed when a good second to a David Loder hotpot on her debut at Beverley, and granted average improvement she should be good enough to see these off, before possibly going on to better things.
