This looks like it could be a match up between Supaverdi and our selection MELT, but if anything can get ahead of both of them, it could be Lady Brora. Richard Hannon's filly has a stone in hand on the top weights Flying Valentino and Friends Hope, and comes here in good form, having won once and been placed three times in four runs at Lingfield in the last couple of months. On the turf she's not shown much to date, but learning more about the game on the all-weather can see a change in fortunes on it here. Supaverdi, from the in-form Morrison stable has the advantage of being drawn in stall one, but may be held up which can be the way to win here, given the stiff uphill finish. She last saw a track in December when winning at the third time of asking, also on the polytrack, and this is her handicap debut. Lady Brora has also done well on the all-weather, and a run at Newbury suggested she can handle the turf, but she may need the run, as her last was in October. It looks like it may be a straight duel though between the likely top two in the market, with preference being for Melt.
