Lutine Charlie has course and distance successes to his name but both came way back in 2010 and he does nearly all his racing nowadays either on the all-weather or at Brighton. He did go close to a ninth career win on his penultimate start and should be in the mix with Kirby booked. Israfel has been consistent in similar company this term but has yet to tackle further than 7f so we'll go with THE GREEDY BOY. The Channon gelding showed little in three juvenile maidens but his first run in handicap company when fourth at Newbury did reveal shards of future promise and his handler would not have to eke out too much improvement after just four starts for him to get involved in such a weak race. Nifty Kier won here in July last year and would be of interest if rediscovering that level of form after a modest season this time round.
