      Verdict

      Jacquard could only manage fourth at Yarmouth last time carrying a penalty for winning at Wolverhampton earlier. Pulsating has returned a losing favourite on more than one occasion including her latest start on the all-weather when four lengths behind the winner. GOLD PATCH was never in contention on his debut in a maiden at Beverley behind Clef. But the latter and the runner-up have both won since and Nathan Evans takes 5lb off his back in this. Mick Easterby’s charge gets the nod with The Stalking Moon possibly best of the newcomers.
