Verdict
VINCENTTI, well beaten in a red-hot Class 2 sprint at York last time, had previously gone very close in a similarly competitive handicap on the Knavesmire when only beaten a nose by Moviesta. He has to concede weight all round but there's a strong enough case to suggest he can do so although the one concern is that his best form has arrived on ground with plenty of cut. The Art Of Racing disappointed last time at Haydock when a beaten favourite but may have needed the run and rates the danger but Jillnextdoor looks in the grip of the assessor at present. Course and distance winner Alcando has yet to display any vim this season and Tartary looks one of the Roger Charlton lesser lights on the evidence to date.
