Art Wave looks the most interesting newcomer with the Botti yard ticking over quite nicely although they are only 1-15 so far this term with their youngsters. However, they do enjoy a 21% course strike rate with juveniles over the past five years and the son of Art Connoisseur is noted. Citizen Kaine was thrown in at the deep end when finishing last in the Chesham Stakes on debut but clearly learnt a great deal from the experience when fourth to Kingman at Newmarket, albeit beaten a respectful distance. He looks on the upgrade but BUREAU is narrowly preferred. Also unplaced in the Chesham, she boasts the best single piece of form here when second to Zeshov in a useful Sandown maiden over 7f and should relish the drop in grade.
