Verdict
HIGHLIFE DANCER won over course and distance before following up at Brighton. Though carrying a penalty, it's not easy to get away from the top weight in this as few of his rivals arrive in any sort of form. The exception is Acapulco Bay, who has been going well over hurdles since winning at Chepstow last month. He rates the danger as Glenns Wobbly will struggle to reverse running with the selection here, despite the revised terms, and Midnight Sequel seems better on the all-weather. Bold Cross would have a chance on his best form but appears to be feeling his age nowadays.
