In depth

Verdict

Indigo Rock is 7lb better off with Loose Preformer for the six lengths he was beaten at Wetherby last month. David O'Meara's was beaten 27 lengths on a return visit to the West Yorkshire track and there may not be much between the pair today. Winning pointer Soweheard got off the mark at Downpatrick on just his second start over hurdles and further improvement is likely but Academy General and 12-year-old General Hardi have less scope. We're keen to keep OSCAR TANNER onside as he bolted up over 2m5f here on his hurdling debut after four runs in bumpers. The longer trip is unlikely to be a problem and Lucy Alexander's mount can double his tally.
