Verdict

A tricky sprint and CRYSTALIZED gets the nod in a race where solid form is conspicuous by its absence. The former Richard Hannon inmate has clearly taken some time to come to hand but she should have gleaned plenty of confidence from a recent victory at Brighton. Distant Shadow has little form to recommend though her trainer fired in a rare double at Kempton recently and this drop in trip may suit. Brean Splash Suzie was second in a maiden at Windsor last month though having been trounced in plating company previously it's hard not to have doubts about the form. Malcolm Saunders had a welcome winner at Salisbury earlier in the week so Lucky Clover is one to note on handicap debut while Trigger Park was not disgraced in a better race at Chepstow and he wouldn't be out of it if he can cope with these much quicker conditions.
