Verdict

PETERSBODEN is not a frequent winner by any stretch of the imagination, but the previous course and distance winner ran with credit at Brighton earlier in the month and Steve Drowne's booking is a positive. Elizabeth Coffee is clearly in great heart at present with recent victories under both codes and, having won off a mark of 74 in Ireland, she could still be well treated. Long-standing maiden Herbalist often races prominently while K Lightning has had fewer chances than most and is worth another try over the trip having failed to cope with a softer surface at Chepstow. Gabrial The Thug has been disappointing this term and appears to be very much in the last-chance saloon.
