Cerulean Rose is on a roll and may be capable of defying the handicapper once more to complete a six-timer, with Byo, Twilight Mistress and Loch Inch others to consider. Cerulean Rose has not looked back since having a wind operation, winning five in a row and going up nearly two stone into the bargain. However, the handicapper has not got her measure yet and a five pound rise does not look overly harsh. Trainer Tony Carroll is considering a tilt at the Ayr Silver Cup for his in-form filly and she should be well up to this task before going to Scotland. Loch Inch is also in form and may well have gone close to notching another victory had he got the run of the race at Salisbury. He will be a popular choice for the frame at least, while Twilight Mistress is game but may be a shade high in the weights at present. Byo is a course and distance winner who has hit form at the right time, and Inch By Inch could prove troublesome on his best form. This is probably the best race on the card and one that should go to Cerulean Rose.
