FEMME DE FER gets the strong vote to break her maiden tag on her third attempt, while both Milldown Story and Prowl warrant plenty of respect. The selection ran an eye catching second to Santefisio on her debut at Newbury but ran slightly below par when sent off a short priced favourite at Warwick last time. That said, this does look like her easiest opportunity to date so with luck in running she will be difficult to oppose. Milldown Story has more experience than most with five career starts under her belt. Apart from her debut outing, she has not finished out of the frame. She has been unlucky to have found the odd one too good and it could be the case that history repeats itself once again. Prowl ran twice as a two-year-old last season and failed to threaten the judge on her return at Yarmouth last month, but she is represented by a top stable so should be monitored in the betting market. Femme De Fer looks the most progressive horse in the race and is worth staying on the right side of for the time being.
