In depth

Verdict

HILLSIDE LAD has enough form behind him to land this seller, while both Theta Wave and Migliori pose as the main dangers. The selection broke his maiden tag on the all weather last winter and won a handicap at Salisbury when tried in cheek pieces for the first time in July. Since then he has struggled a little in handicaps and was not suited to racing alone when dropped into a seller for the first time at Chepstow on Friday. A line can be drawn through his latest form and he is worth siding with once more if he gets the luck in running. Theta Wave is tried in cheek pieces for the first time after a disappointing effort at Folkestone last time out. That said he has already improved himself in this grade when coming good at Ripon on his penultimate outing so now back in that grade of race he has to be respected. Migliori drops into a seller for the first time having shown only moderate form in maidens and handicaps this summer. He has run with credit on a few occasions so any market support should be noted. Hillside Lad comes from a stable that are producing a steady flow of winners lately and looks the percentage call.
