Verdict

A weak maiden in which preference is for BUSHWHACKER ahead of Sayyedati Storm. A recruit from Hong Kong, the selection almost made a winning UK debut when second to Red Roar at Beverley. Connections reach for the cheek-pieces but the booking of Richard Hughes calms the fears and he looks the one to beat. Sayyedati Storm shaped with promise at Lingfield before disappointing when sent up to Newcastle. She has been given a break since and she is related to sprinters so this drop in trip could be in her favour. Excellent Thought is thoroughly exposed but her Epsom run can be ignored and she is respected on bits of her handicap form, especially the run at Lingfield behind Stefanki, whilst the only other one to mention is newcomer Two Ish who needs a market check on his racecourse debut.
