        Verdict

        It might be worth taking a flyer on KINGFISHER BLUE ahead of Royalorien and Super Smile. Jamie Osborne's colt was well-held in a strong Goodwood maiden but it looks significant that he started there. His pedigree is all about speed and winning at two so with improvement normally forthcoming from the yard's juveniles he can be backed each way. Imogen Louise has run well in two fair maidens and she shouldn't mind the drop back in trip, whilst Super Smile drops two furlongs in distance and she should better a modest Newmarket 12th on debut. Poetically should be more of a force now dropped in trip on quicker ground, and he rates more of a danger than Owain.
