Verdict
Walter Swinburn's GOLDEN TEMPEST has run to a decent level of form in maidens at Windsor in both outings so far, latterly when a creditable third behind Whisper Louise, and he can gain a deserved first success with the main dangers rated as Shutupandrive and Delira. John Portman's filly ran well when chasing home Fifth Commandment at Bath two starts ago but disappointed at Newbury subsequently and she now looks best watched. Mick Channon introduces a daughter of Acclamation in Hi Note, who could be of interest on her debut, while Tony Newcombe's Libertia should find this easier that the Salisbury maiden that she ran in on her debut in June but she needs to improve to trouble the selection. Brian Meehan's youngsters normally improve for their first start and the trainer has his string in good heart so Miss Sinatra has to be considered but she is held by the selection on running at Windsor. Mark Usher's Shutupandrive is another interesting newcomer being by Forest Wildcat out of a Diesis mare but it is hard to get away from Golden Tempest, who can gain a deserved first success.
