It's difficult to avoid the claims of INTENSE SUSPENSE, who has been in terrific form between the flags and, having won at Perth at the start of this month, he is taken as the one to side with in the finale. Willies Way can make sure this is a good test, while Orchard Kind is also capable of getting into the shake-up if he is on song. The last named is better than recent form figures would have you believe and he is one to carefully monitor in the betting. Willies Way has a wealth of experience to draw from and, having dropped several hints that his turn is near; could be dangerous to leave him out of the equation. Watch the betting carefully where he is concerned. A similar comment applies to Albert Park, who didn't really start his career until this season and has relatively few miles on the clock. He still has a bit more left to offer. However, there can be no doubting that Intense Suspense is thriving just now and, he is taken to continue on his merry way if his recent exertions haven't taken their toll.
