In depth

Verdict

Plenty of in-form sorts who warrant major consideration here but COMBER MILL has been cleverly placed by the Ralph team to claim a hat-trick with all victories being pretty hard-earned. Obviously he runs off a higher mark now and is a stone higher than at the start of his winning run but he actually drops back to Class 4 here and may well be worth sticking with. Good Tradition and Newstart finished one-two in a jumpers bumper at Southwell so have assured fitness on their side and it's the topweight who rates the prime danger to the selection. He does give the impression of having plenty more to offer. Stable companion Hit And Run also merits consideration as he's solid and reliable, whilst Rebel Collins and the unexposed Hijran can also have cases made in an open contest.
