In depth

Verdict

Granted a clear round Bicycle Thief looks sure to take the beating, but he hasn't looked a natural since switching to fences and he also has to prove he stays this far. He may be worth taking on at short price with Fearless Mel, who has obviously been difficult to train, but as he showed at Leicester, he does have ability. This trip will not be a problem for him and he is taken to upset the hotpot. Briar's Mist is better than he has shown so far over fences and it could be that this faster ground may see him in a better light.
