Verdict

Lords Best appears to be going the right way and wasn't disgraced when tackling handicappers for the first time at Kempton on his latest outing. That was a solid effort against some in-form rivals and looks the one to beat in this, running off the same mark. He will not have things all his own way as Campaign Trail also looks to be improving. His defeat of Jacopo back in January was made to look better after the later went on to hack up at Southwell earlier in the week and while he does have to prove he stays this far, he does give the impression he may actually improve for the step up in trip. Jacdor comes from a yard in form but, he will have to turn in a personal best if he is to win off this career high mark.
