This looks to lie between Autumn Red and Rimsky, with the vote going to Autumn Red. The selection displayed a great deal of promise when second on his Kempton debut and more of the same puts him firmly in the picture. Rimsky showed just as much promise in a decent Newbury bumper on his debut, and he too has to be seriously considered. Of the others, from the Philip Hobbs stable, Storm Of Applause has to be considered, although he is a late foal, Dreams Jewel won an average Hereford bumper, and Courageous Dove has shown a modicum of promise, but the others are hard to recommend. In truth, only two are, as identified, and, of these, we prefer Autumn Red.
