In depth

Verdict

Maybe Limerick Leader is the one to be on here, while The Manse Brae and Prominent Profile might turn out to be his biggest dangers. The selection, like a number of these, has to put a couple of lacklustre efforts behind him to land the spoils today. However, he won over course and distance 12 months ago from a higher mark and, if in a going mood, has to be feared. Jackem is hard to fancy, but Jaoka du Gourd is lightly raced and improving and suggested at Newbury last time that he has a race in him. The Manse Brae ran creditably from out of the handicap last time in a valuable race and, back and this level and now in the handicap proper, he can go well. Prominent Profile has let supporters down on a couple of occasions since scoring last January, but he is also now back to a winning mark and has to be respected. Jacdor won his last two races last season and has a progressive profile, but he lacks a recent run, while Jimmy Tennis is back on an attractive mark, but needs to put a number of indifferent runs behind him to feature. Overall, this leads us back to the selection, which is Limerick Leader.
