It is hard to get a firm handle on the form of these but, that said, we will side with Alagon ahead of Castlemore, Lord Brock, Prince Of The Wood, Lanzlo and Fleetwood Forest. Alagon met a runner on the upgrade at Newbury last time, the first time he had raced in a visor, and he holds solid claims here if they do the trick again. Castlemore got off the mark last time but, to be fair, was not impressive, although at least his confidence will be on a high. Look for clues in the betting. Lord Brock has at least won a race, but time will tell if his mark is correct. Fleetwood Forest has also won, but is unproven at today's trip. Alchemystic and Another General have lost their ways of late, while Prince Of The Wood proved he stayed this far when winning two runs ago, although he'll have to settle better than he did on that occasion to feature today. Mrs Ritchie seemed to improve last time, but will need to do so again. Lanzlo has often knocked at the door from around today's mark, so has to be considered again, but Quatrain needs more than has so far been shown. This returns us to the selection, which is Alagon.
