Just the two runners but the Venetia Williams-trained Pharpost only gets a marginal preference over Jonjo O'Neill's chasing debutant Prokofiev. Despite winning just one of his 11 chase starts, the selection finished a good second over this course and distance to Full Minty on his last run. His jumping looked more dependable there and, particularly if he gets his own way in front, can score for the second time over the bigger obstacles. Four-time hurdle winner Prokofiev earned a rating as high as 124 in that sphere. He is entitled to win races but, on this occasion, might find Pharpost's experience just getting the better of him.
