Rob Dickin's Rothres deserves to get her head in front having found just one too good in each of her last three starts but she may have to settle for minor honours again racing off the same mark as when beaten five lengths at Towcester last month and preference is for AMERICAN CRICKET from the in-form Alex Hales stable, who has ground conditions to suit and may be worth chancing first time in a handicap with the main danger rated as Marsool. Don McCain's gelding looks to be well enough treated but has never raced on ground softer than good so he cannot be backed with confidence. Stable companion Seedless should not be inconvenienced by the underfoot conditions but does need to improve on all known form to trouble the judge. Manjam has been in good heart of late prior to falling early on in the race at Wetherby last time and he has to be considered racing off the same mark today, while Richard Fahey's Red Onion is less exposed than most and the yard's runners have been going better recently. Tim Vaughan's Hayes Princess looks to be going the right way and will relish the testing ground but she may be too high in the weights for what she has achieved and preference is for American Cricket. who can give Alex Hales another winner.
