Zsarabak, a faller last time out, can atone here, with Sharp Steel and Jamorin Dancer best of the rest. Zsarabak is a dual course winner over hurdles who came to grief when put back over fences at Cartmel last time. That was an unfortunate lapse as Peter Niven's charge had shaped well enough on his previous outings over the bigger obstacles. Sure to have been well schooled since, he makes more appeal than Jamorin Dancer who always seems to find one too good, and is not as well treated as over hurdles anyway. Thalys was pulled up when fancied on his seasonal return at Worcester after running much too freely, but will provide the biggest danger, along with Sharp Steel who won that contest, but who needs to be ridden perfectly to lead at the last. Zsarabak should have their measure though if his jumping stands up.
