Colquhoun has been knocking at the door, and is fancied to score at the expense of Burundi, with Sunday Rain in with a chance. Colquhoun has been disappointing since opening his account at Chepstow three years ago, but of late has started to show some decnt form. Although he was well held by Wagner at Market Rasen last time, he still finished a good second and this race does not look as strong. Burundi hit winning form at Stratford over two miles but looks a much better prospect over this longer trip and will make his presence felt as well. However, the concession of six pounds to the selection is expected to prove too much. Sunday Rain has a bit more to do here but with Richard Johnson in the plate can go well, not well enough though to stop Colquhoun.
