Verdict

The Princetonian couldn't get to the experienced Cornelius Sulla at Killarney but had the remainder well beaten and will be difficult to beat. The remainder with experience have shown little but the newcomer SAPPHIRE LADY could be a different matter. Willie Mullins' mare is the second foal of a winning bumper who has already produced the useful Westerner Lady so she's taken to make a successful debut. Jonathan Sweeney invariably has some decent point-to-pointers and bumpers in his yard so Corcadia is one to note with Jamie Codd in the saddle despite pulling up when fancied at Liscarroll. The market should be noted for any clues to the remaining newcomers.
