      Verdict

      Dermot Weld has a tremendous record in this and Lady Tanzanite found 7f much too short on her debut at Fairyhouse and was impeded at a crucial stage. Passage Of War took a long time to warm up at Limerick but stayed on once getting the hang of the job. Roman Bull was only beaten a neck in that latter event when conceding 9lb to the winner but RED AZALEA has been very unfortunate to come up against in-form rivals and should at last lose her maiden tag. Gambe Veloci, who is a half-brother to five winners, was withdrawn from a race last month after giving trouble at the start so should be fit enough.
