Verdict

Ofcourseiwill was beaten 22 lengths when second off this mark at Bangor so needs to find some improvement. Trongate chased home a useful novice at Perth in August and then went one better at Kelso and should have more to come. Winning pointer The Road Home has had a wind operation since his chasing bow at Kelso in the spring and Emerald Chieftan has also won between the flags and should make a better chaser than hurdler. STRONG ECONOMY (NAP) is having a first run for Ian Duncan but went close over a slightly longer trip here in March on his last run over fences. He’s only 2lb higher today and could be the pick of the weights.
