      Verdict

      Although a relatively small field go to post for this sprint handicap, it does not make it any easier to solve and KILLER CLASS is a tentative selection to land it. 5lb higher than her last winning mark, the selection has been racing consistently off her current mark and importantly, seems to reserve her best for smaller fields and acts with plenty of give underfoot. Wotashirtful has received some leniency from the assessor following some disappointing efforts. He looked a horse that could develop into a smart handicapper earlier in the summer but has been found wanting since been stepped up in class. Rio Sands sole victory has been achieved on good to firm ground. He is closely weighted with Killer Class on previous meetings while Know No Fear was possibly feeling the effects of a hard race two outings back when failing to get involved at York last time. Cheshire Rose is 5lb higher for a course and distance win last time out but this looks tougher. Killer Class gets the vote to land it. (John McDonnell)
