Carriage Ride is taken to master Contract Scotland, with Falchion and Harlov others worth a mention. The latter in fact bids to make up for a disappointing trip to Ludlow recently when a mistake four out no doubt contributed to his defeat. However, if things fall right for Andrew Parker's charge here, he can make his presence felt, but still faces a couple of tough rivals. One of those is Carriage Ride who was a bit too keen on his return to action at Hexham in November but who shaped very well on only his second outing over fences at Newcastle next time. He jumped well in the main, finding only the useful Imperial Dream too good, but the third horse was 22 lengths away, and he can only improve. Contract Scotland landed a moderate affair at Wetherby in April and has not impressed with his jumping on either start since returning to action. That said, he still boasts winning form, and should be in the shake-up. Of the rest, Falchion is worth a second glance as he also has winning form over the bigger obstacles. For the winner we return to Carriage Ride.
