        Verdict

        A competitive field goes to post for the first on the card and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Long Weekend , Roman Maze and Emperors Well and we will take a chance on Long Weekend . The selection won with a little in hand when defeating Vendors Mistake last time out and although he is rising in the weights he looks ahead of the handicapper and will be hard to beat. Roman Maze rates the main danger on his best form and although he has been disappointing of late he returns to his best trip here and will not be far away from what looks a good draw. Emperors Well is game and consistent and is another that could go well but he is weighted up to his best and his best form is over a longer trip so he is passed over on this occasion.Of the remainder Boavista is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Long Weekend who looks set for a big run.
