Verdict

None of these could claim consistency on a list of attributes but OSCATARA is due one of his better efforts. He tends to either place or fail to complete but is only 3lb higher than when second at Uttoxeter in July. Fair Loch won over hurdles at Catterick in between more modest efforts and unseated on his only previous start over fences while Seven Devils went close at Kelso last month only to disappoint on his latest start. Premier Grand Cru is not badly treated on his winning form over fences but has raced just the one since since 2014 and that was in the January of last year.
