Anna Pavlova, Ivy Creek and Confidential Lady look to be the principal players and our vote goes the way of Anna Pavlova. The former miler ran a solid race for a long way in the Lonsdale Cup and providing the bounce factor isn't in play, she could be the type to pick up prizes throughout the Autumn. Ivy Creek won well at Pontefract earlier in the season to defeat The Geezer. The official ratings suggest he will fair well here. Confidential Lady is without doubt the class act on view but backers have to employ a leap of faith in relation to her fitness. The market should tell its own tale. There appears to be no inbetween as far as the quality of Championship Point's performances but he would have solid claims if putting it all together this afternoon.Blythe Knight should love the underfoot conditions this afternoon and were he not forced to give weight away, he would have gone close to the recommendation in this race. Spice Route has not built upon earlier promise while Sunshine Kid has a handy racing weight and is one to keep an eye on if the market speaks in his favour. A fair race and Anna Pavlova is put forward as the selection.
