Discanti, Maryolini and Barraland are the trio for the shortlist and Discanti is given the vote. The selection is in really good heart at present and he ran another really solid race in defeat last time. He is a progressive type and he sets the standard for the others. Maryolini was a little disappointing last time at Kempton, but the race has worked out well so the run may not have been as bad as we first feared. Barraland has got some solid form but the handicapper looks to have his measure right now. Jim Goldie does well with his runners here so Killer Class is another worth a market check, but for the winner we will stick with Discanti.
