Verdict

This is a wide open seller and Has To Be Abacus gets a tentative vote ahead of Balais Folly and Thankuforthemusic. Balais Folly is well exposed but has hit the frame recently in a non seller, albeit at a low level, and has run respectably in some small handicaps. This is probably the weakest race he has contested as he drops to this grade for the first time and he can hit the frame. After some promisng efforts earlier this year which would give him an outstanding chance here, Thankuforthemusic has turned in some poor efforts recently. This is a weak affair however and he can reach a place. Has To Be Abacus showed only modest form in claimers before turning in an improved effort in a seller over this course and distance last time. That run came after a break, and he ran well until a lack of fitness told in the closing stages. Has To Be Abacus is a tentative selection in a desperately weak affair.
