Lunar River, Prince Charlemagne and Tenement make the shortlist here, with Lunar River holding the best form credentials. Having been second in a claimer as a juvenile, Tenement's handicap mark was a little high and he was outclassed for a while. However, his rating has now retreated to a more realistic level, and he stayed on well in a similar contest over this course and distance on his latest start. Dropped another pound, he can go well off bottom weight. Prince Charlemagne has been out of form on turf recently but reserves his best runs for this track. He was second in a seller here, but now races off a stone lower mark. It would be no surprise to see him bounce back to form and go well. Lunar River landed the only success of his career when scoring over this course and distance last year, but he showed real signs of a return to form when just touched off in a Nottingham handicap last time. He has been raised three pounds, but Lunar River has an easier task here against largely out of form rivals, and he can take this.
