In depth

Verdict

From Dawn To Dusk gets a narrow vote over Get My Drift, with See You There, Always Waining and Brooklyn Brownie not entirely out of it. There is plenty of good recent form to go on here, and just a small vote goes to From Dawn To Dusk who kept on well when scoring over two-and-three quarter miles at Haydock last time. His task was made slightly easier when a rival fell two out, but he won on merit basically and will not be hindered by the step up in trip. Ex-Irish pointer Get My Drift has had his problems and is still on the way back, but was only two-lengths behind the useful Character Building at Warwick and will be fancied by some to open his account under rules here. See You There won impressively at Carlisle last time but tackles much faster ground now, while Always Waining ran out of steam up the Ascot hill three weeks ago and will be suited by this flatter track. Brooklyn Brownie threw away a winning chance at Bangor with a blunder at the last, and a better round of jumping could see him involved. Overall though, we like the look of From Dawn To Dusk.
