Kings Point won well last time on ground that may not have been ideal at Thirsk, however top-weight makes life tough and preference is for the progressive AMICUS MEUS. Lightly-raced for a four-year-old having been off the track as a three-year-old, Alan Bailey's progressive son of Danehill Dancer has shown a liking for soft ground and gets his favoured conditions today. Obe Brave beat the dodge-pot Gift Horse last time, obviously not looking him in the mouth, and has claims here as he is not badly treated at all on old form on this mark of 80. Zomerlust is effective under these conditions and may find this company easier than recent big sprints, whilst The Osteopath and Geojimali both know how to win at the track. Against The Grain is one to keep an eye on in the betting after two months off, however we will stick with Amicus Meus who looks worth siding with until he loses.
