UNDERWORLD has won on ground with a bit of cut in and gets the vote here over Osteopathic Remedy and Zero Tolerance. The last-named is interesting as he handles this ground so well and his best runs have come under testing conditions. He brings a high level of form to the table and is still well-in compared to his old rating, however we will take a chance on the improving Underworld. This progressive handicapper, a typically tough three year old from the Mark Johnston army, wasn't beaten far last time at Chester and may be more suited by this more conventional track. Osteopathic Remedy is a course and distance winner and comes here in excellent form but has a further rise in the weights to deal with, whilst last-year's winner Fremen was readily held in claiming company last time at Musselburgh. At a price Jewelled Dagger and Rio Riva may be capable of better than we have seen in recent runs, however it is Underworld who gets the nod.
