River Of Fire is the selection to follow up his Folkestone win, with Woodwind Down, Ipledgeallegiance, and Cosmic Case making for an interesting contest. In truth nothing stands out too much but River Of Fire, who does not win too often, has plummeted to such a lowly mark that it would be no surprise if he were to add to his recent Folkestone success. It was only a moderate contest but the six-year-old was given a well-judged ride by today's female pilot, and although conditions will be faster here, he can again be in the shake-up. Woodwind Down stuck to his task well when making most to beat Cosmic Case at Musselburgh and should have no problem with the trip today. Cosmic Case has since been beaten again, making no impression behind Elusive Dream at Hamilton but is well handicapped and stays every yard of the trip. Ipledgeallegiance got going too late when second to Magic Red at Southwell recently but did score here last year over shorter off a much higher mark, so is another to enter the equation. Gone Too Far has his first outing on the Flat for a long time and may be best watched, and for the winner we return to River Of Fire.
