Down at the foot of the handicap Revelino has a good chance to gain an overdue victory in this weak event, Cork Harbour and Red Nose Lady appear to be the main dangers. Sue Wilton's gelding hasn't visited the winners enclosure for over two years but has shown signs in recent runs that he may be able to land a minor contest. Back in March he finished a close up fifth behind Blue Leader in a better race than this, form that gives him very strong claims here. Cork Harbour is making his seasonal debut and ended last campaign with a victory at Market Rasen. It was only in a seller but he did win it in very emphatic style drawing well clear of Lone Soldier after the last. Red Nose Lady was also successful in a seller last time over course and distance, beating Droumleigh Lad by a comfortable length and a quarter. All in all this event will not take much winning and Revelino is weighted to go very close indeed.
